Recently, Guangzhou Baiyun District held the 2023 Global Cross-border E-commerce Seller Service Conference.
At this conference, the "three centers" of global cross-border e-commerce were officially established.
The three centers refer to the global cross-border e-commerce seller service center, the global cross-border e-commerce super supply chain center, and the global cross-border e-commerce ecological innovation center, which are designed to provide assistance for small and medium-sized enterprise brands to expand overseas markets.
Zhong Zeyu, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Association for Trade in Services, said that "the establishment of the 'three centers' of global cross-border e-commerce in Guangzhou will further promote the cultivation of the main body of cross-border e-commerce SMEs, build an efficient and convenient service system, establish an ecosystem of cross-border e-commerce industry clusters with local characteristics, and contribute to the overseas expansion of the brands of small, medium-sized and micro foreign trade enterprises".
Guangzhou's performance in the field of e-commerce is very outstanding.
The proportion of cross-border e-commerce imports and exports in foreign trade has increased from 4.4% in 2019 to 12.6% in 2022, which shows that Guangzhou has made great progress in promoting cross-border e-commerce last year and is expected to become an influential cross-border e-commerce center, which is of great significance to the development of China and the global economy.
